Lonzo Ball - Aaron Rodgers corollary

Rumor has it that the Lakers will pass on Ball. This situation reminds me a lot of Aaron Rodgers and San Francisco 12 years ago. Here was a home grown kid right in the team's back yard. It was the perfect set up for the team to just pick the kid. But the team tried to be too clever for their own good and picked apart the player's game and found excuses not to select him. The team I am talking about is the 49ers not taking Aaron Rodgers. The same could be said of the Lakers when and if they pass on Ball.

I think the Lakers would be foolish to pass on Ball.
