Cesc Fabregas on winning Premier League title: ‘Football is f—ing unbelievable’
No better way to put it.
Chelsea FC won the Premier League title on Friday thanks to their 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, and its players were understandably emotional in the immediate aftermath. So emotional, in fact, that Cesc Fabregas dropped an f-bomb on live TV.

But we’ll give him a pass. Last season, Chelsea was in the bottom half for most of the year, firing previously popular manager Jose Mourinho mid-season. Antonio Conte was expected to lead a turnaround, but one that got the Blues back in the top six, not first place.
And Fabregas, much maligned for his poor performances last season, was linked to moves away last summer. He hasn’t been in Conte’s plans for big parts of this season, and the transfer rumors are swirling again. But when Chelsea needed a creative boost at the end of the season — and someone to occupy a spot in midfield with player of the year N’Golo Kante injured — Fabregas stepped up and delivered.
Football is, indeed, unbelievable.
