De'aaron Fox stock rising so high we pass on Lonzo at #3?

Next Tuesday, millions of Lakers fans will be nervously waiting to see the results of the NBA draft lottery. I have a feeling we might lose the pick, but if Magic decides to hire Byron Scott to represent us, then we will defintely get the pick. Markelle Fultz is probably the most perfect prospect to come out since Karl Anthony Towns. You can pencil in Fultz as a future superstar if he's on the Lakers. That's how much confidence I have. He is not only the safest prospect, but the one with the highest potential. I would absolutely take him over Brandon Ingram or Ben Simmons in last year's draft. If we land the second pick, the debate will be only Lonzo vs Josh Jackson. After the past few months on the Lonzo bandwagon, I'm beginning to lean on Josh Jackson and De'aaron Fox over Lonzo Ball.

Though both Josh Jackson and Fox can't shoot, both are the best defenders in their positions and good rebounder/passers. They can affect the game in a variety of aspects if their offense isn't falling. Lonzo is a phenomenal full court passer and rebounder, but his weaknesses is a big red flag. No midrange, no floaters, limited defense, no post ups, and lack of offensive moves. Most, if not all, of his threes are off stepbacks or from way downtown. His form limits his pull up shot over contested shots and in the NBA, players have a way bigger frame and wingspan. His pick and roll game statisics is not very pretty. If we land the #3 pick and Jackson/ Fultz are off the board, I'm leaning on Fox over Ball. Call me crazy , but I can see Fox improve his shot dramatically, His form is very good and has no hitches like Jackson and Lonzo. Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard were horrific shooters,but had excellent forms. Obviously, these are two success stories out of hundreds , but scouts are saying the same thing too.

Would you pass on Lonzo Ball to take De'Aaron Fox? You can still put Fox and Rusell in same backcourt because Fox is a very good defender and does a lot of driving in and dishing it out. Maybe a better fit with Russell than Lonzo. Take a look at this video.
