Capitals vs. Penguins 2017 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch NHL playoffs online
Stars finally showed up for the Washington Capitals in Game 5. Is it too much to believe they’ll show up again to save their team in Game 6?
Alex Ovechkin, Braden Holtby, and company will have to answer the call on Monday night when the Eastern Conference semifinal shifts back to Pittsburgh. The Penguins got Sidney Crosby and Conor Sheary back last game from concussions, but it wasn’t enough to end the series.
Washington faces elimination once again, down 3-2. The Capitals can take some hope in their Game 3 win, though that victory featured a spectacular late-game collapse they’d prefer to forget. For the first time, however, the Capitals were able to rattle Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury in Game 5.
Fleury is the expected starter for Pittsburgh again, and Holtby will obviously man the Washington net.
