ASHLAND - AJ Cooper's interception return with 3 minutes 55 seconds to play was the difference in the annual Red and White Game at Raider Stadium, as the White team snatched a 14-7 victory in the culmination of four weeks of spring practice.

Cooper, who is slated to be a third-year starter at cornerback in 2017, picked off Red quarterback Sean Smith 15 yards outside of the end zone and brought it in untouched to break a 7-7 tie. On the first play of the White squad's ensuing drive, Clayton Jones came up with an interception and, afterMarcus Montano missed a potential game-clinching field goal,Keegan Lawrence picked off Smith with 1:08 left to seal the deal.
