The First Yearly 2015-2016 Portland Trailblazers Award

The 2015-2016 Blazers award is a yearly reward at the end of the season. The reason I named after the Blazers is because that year, the Blazers had very little expectations going into the season. What happen that year, the faced the Warriors in the playoffs and held them to 5 games! Against a 73 win team! This award is given to teams that have wayyy outperformed expectations at the beginning of the season.

Award contenders:

The Washington Wizards.

They had almost no expectations. They were one of the worst teams in the NBA by December. There season was lost. What has changed! They have a legit chance for a ring!

The Dallas Mavericks

They were a trash fire at the beginning of the season. They had some expectations, but from the way they were losing games, it was not long before they will lock up the first pick. That's what ESPN said. Even though they have almost no chance for the 8 seed, they are still in a better position for the future then the course they would take had they tanked. They have Actually Useful Dirk, I'm Better Then Steph Seth (I am in no way suggesting that Stephen Curry is worse then his brother.), I'm A Power Foward Now Harrison Barnes, and Not Washed Yet Wesley Matthews.

They were left for dead at the beginning of the season. They were tanking for a high pick, ESPN said. They were just begging for the number 1 pick, ESPN said. They were left for dead. Well, what do we have here? A team with, Good Dion Waiters, Slicer Dragic, and A Bunch of Guys You Can Not Name.
