[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Handles Swedes, Clinch KCAC Tournament Berth
NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - Picked to finish sixth in the preseason poll of the KCAC head coaches, Bethel Women's Tennis came into conference play with a bit of a chip on their shoulder. After yesterday's 7-2 dismantling of the Bethany Swedes, Bethel (now 6-6, 5-2) can do no lower than fourth place as they clinched a berth into the four-team conference tournament. Bethel last appeared in the conference tournament in 2015, and this is head coach Richard Southern's first time making it, in his first year as a collegiate head coach. They have one more regular season matchup with Tabor on Saturday, before they head to Topeka to take part in the tournament next week Friday, April 28th.
