(New Orleans, La.) With 118 points, last year's Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field champions (Dillard) finished fourth at this year's GCAC track championship at Tad Gormley Stadium in New Orleans. Xavier University finished with 183 points to claim the women's championship while Southern University at New Orleans finished in third place with 124 points. However, the Lady Bleu Devils are currently ranked 12th in the nation and look to do damage at next month's National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Alabama.
