Bill Self and Kansas have added another commitment in the transfer portal.
The Jayhawks have now landed Radford transfer Dennis Parker Jr., per reports.
A 6-foot-6 forward from Richmond, Parker averaged 18.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game for the Highlanders this season, in his lone season with the program.
Prior to this season at Radford, Parker spent two seasons playing for Kevin Keatts at NC State, where he appeared in 56 games for the Wolfpack.
Parker will head to Kansas as its tenth newcomer of the offseason and fourth via the transfer portal.
The No. 3 overall recruiting class, according to 247Sports, he joins Charleston transfer Christian Reeves, Utah transfer Keanu Dawes and Toledo transfer Leroy Blyden Jr. to round out the Jayhawks’ transfer portal class.
Their high-school class consists of five-star Tyran Stokes, five-star Taylen Kinney, four-star Davion Adkins, four-star Trent Perry, four-star Luke Barnett and 6-foot-10 center Grant Mordini.
The Jayhawks are also set to return Kohl Rosario and Paul Mbiya from last year’s team.
