Utah transfer Seydou Traore commits to West Virginia

West Virginia continues to acquire talent out of the transfer portal for its 2026-27 campaign.

Utah transfer Seydou Traore will play for the Mountaineers next season, a source confirmed to ZAGSBLOG.

The 6-foot-6 Bronx native averaged 9.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in his junior year at Utah.

He will now play under head coach Ross Hodge at West Virginia alongside transfers Martin Somerville, Mouhamed Sylla, Finley Bizjack and Javan Buchanan.
