Five-star guard Dylan Mingo joins brother at Baylor
By ADAM ZAGORIA
Five-star Long Island Lutheran and PSA Cardinals guard Dylan Mingo has committed to Baylor and will join his older brother Kayden playing for Scott Drew.
In February, the 6-foot-5 Mingo chose Hubert Davis and North Carolina over Washington, Penn State and Baylor. The school then fired Davis after the season and hired former NBA championship coach Mike Malone.
Mingo’s older brother, former Penn State guard Kayden Mingo, then transferred to Baylor.
“Dylan brings tremendous versatility to the college level at 6-5 running the point,” PSA Cardinals coach Donovan Jones said when he first committed. “He’s a true two-way guard who can defend multiple positions, create his own shot, and make plays for others.”
