Louisville lands Dayton transfer De’Shayne Montgomery

Pat Kelsey and Louisville are continuing to bolster their roster in the transfer portal.
The Cardinals have now landed Dayton transfer De’Shayne Montgomery, On3 first reported.
Louisville is set to become Montgomery’s fourth stop in four years, including previous stints at Dayton, Georgia and Mount St. Mary’s.
Over the course of his three-year career, Montgomery has appeared in 85 total games for the three different programs, including 36 for Dayton this past season.
In his 36 starts for the Flyers, Montgomery averaged 13.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for Anthony Grant’s squad.
In his second stop at a power-five school, Montgomery will join one of the best recruiting classes in the nation at Louisville.
The Cardinals’ previous additions include Kansas transfer Flory Bidunga, Oregon transfer Jackson Shelstad, Arkansas transfer Karter Knox and Iowa transfer Alvaro Folgueiras.
