Vanderbilt transfer George Kimble III commits to Auburn

Vanderbilt transfer guard George Kimble III is remaining the SEC and has committed to Auburn, per reports.
Headed to play for Steven Pearl, Kimble used a medical redshirt this season and didn’t appear in a game for the Commadores after transferring from Eastern Kentucky.
During his last season of play, the 2024-25 season at Eastern Kentucky, Kimble averaged 18.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game in 25 games.
Kimble is officially Auburn’s fifth transfer portal addition of the offseason and its seventh newcomers.
Auburn’s list of other transfers includes South Alabama transfer Adam Olsen, Troy transfer Thomas Dowd, Creighton transfer Owen Freeman and Santa Clara transfer Bukky Oboye.
