Providence transfer Oswin Erhunmwunse commits to Creighton

A Providence transfer is staying in the BIG EAST.

Providence big man Oswin Erhunmwunse will play for Creighton next season, per On3.

The 6-foot-10 sophomore averaged 6.9 points and 8.3 rebounds per game for the Friars and will look to be a contributor on a team ushering in a new era without longtime head coach, Greg McDermott, who retired from his position this season.

Erhunmwunse joins four-star prospect Katrelle Harmon as the second member of the team’s 2026 recruiting class under new head coach Alan Huss.

Providence transfer Jamier Jones drawing big interest

One of the BIG EAST’s most impactful freshmen is drawing major interest from schools around the country.

Texas, Texas A&M , FSU , St John’s , Oklahoma State , LSU , USC, Georgetown ,Oregon, West Virginia, Miami and Missouri are among the schools who have reached out to Providence transfer Jamier Jones, a source told Adam Zagoria.

Jones averaged 11.9 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in his freshmen campaign and is sure to have a variety of options for the next chapter in his collegiate career.
