Siena transfer Tasman Goodrick commits to Syracuse
By JAMES MADDEN
New Syracuse head coach Gerry McNamara is bringing a second Siena transfer to the Orange, it was announced Wednesday.
Syracuse’s newest addition is Siena transfer Tasman Goodrick, he announced on Instagram.
Goodrick is a 6-foot-10 forward from Australia that spent one season with the Saints, which ended prematurely due to an injury he suffered in December.
Averaging 9.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game this season, Goodrick also spent a season at each, California Baptist and Gannon (D-II).
He’s the second Siena transfer to announce a commitment to Syracuse since the transfer portal officially opened at midnight on Tuesday, following former Siena head coach Gerry McNamara after he was hired in March.
Goodrick joins fellow Siena transfer Gavin Doty and Slovenian commit Mark Morano Mahmutovic as McNamara’s first three commits since taking over in Syracuse.
