College basketball is a buisness, and that has never been more true in the NIL era.
Memphis wing Ashton Hardaway, son of the program’s head coach Penny Hardaway, has entered the transfer the portal, per League Ready.
The 6-foot-8 wing averaged 5.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game this season and has spent two seasons at Memphis under his father.
He joins Memphis guard Quante Berry as the second player on the roster to enter the portal with more players expected to follow.
