Wisconsin guard John Blackwell declares for NBA Draft

Wisconsin star guard John Blackwell is declaring for the 2026 NBA Draft and entering the transfer portal, he announced Monday. Blackwell will maintain his college eligibility and go through the draft process.
A 6-foot-4 guard from Bloomfield Hills, MI, Blackwell spent three seasons with the Badgers, playing in 34+ games in all three seasons.
Blackwell averaged 19.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per game this season for the Badgers, in their run to the NCAA Tournament.
He’ll also become one of the top names in the transfer portal, should he decide to return to college.
