Iowa State forward Milan Momcilovic to declare for NBA Draft
By JAMES MADDEN
Iowa State sharpshooting forward Milan Momcilovic is expected to declare for the 2026 NBA Draft, 247Sports’ Alec Busse first reported. Momcilovic has spent his entire career with the Cyclones and averaged 16.9 points per game while shooting nearly 49% from three-point range.
“He’s mocking in some people’s first round. He will definitely get drafted,” an NBA executive told ZAGSBLOG.
Across three games in this year’s NCAA Tournament, Momcilovic averaged 14.3 points per game and shot just 37.5% from deep, far below is season average.
Momcilovic is one of at least two Cyclones to likely go through the draft process, with Tamin Lipsey also expected to do the same.
Only a junior, Momcilovic could exercise the option to return to school if he sees fit.
He was an integral part in one Iowa State’s best seasons in program history, which resulted in earning a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
