Four-star Class of 2026 center Moustapha Diop receives release from Georgia Tech, reopens his recruitment

A four-star recruit in the class of 2026 is reopening his recruitment.

6-foot-10 center Moustapha Diop has received a release from Georgia Tech and is expected to commit to another program, he announced on Friday.

Diop is the No. 84 recruit in the Class of 2026 and opted to open up his recruitment shortly after the departure of the Yellow Jacket’s head coach Damon Stoudamire. Prior to his commitment, Diop received offers from Auburn, Alabama, UCF, Missouri, Georgia, and Ole Miss among others.
