Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Anson Hulme, Saratoga basketball

Saratoga basketball player Anson Hulme is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Jan. 19-24.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Hulme finished with 65.4% of the votes. Homestead basketball player Ashton Tam took second with 29.7%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Hulme scored 19 points to lead Saratoga to a 47-46 win over Fremont-Sunnyvale.
