WVU is latest offer for 2027 guard Wor
BY ZACH SMART
As a 6-foot-7 combo guard with length, an adeptness for creating space, and a deft outside touch, CIA Bella Vista (AZ) Class of 2027 prospect Wor Wor is tracking as an emergent stock riser.
Wor was recently offered by West Virginia on January 19th.
“It’s great to have that offer from (WVU),” Wor said.
“I’ve been hearing a lot from (assistant coach) Yusuf Ali. The message they are emphasizing is just to keep working and putting on weight. The college game is definitely changing, guys are bigger. Guys are stronger. So, they just want me to prepare for that and put some muscle on.”
Wor is currently at 175 pounds and is looking to get around the area od 185-190 pounds by the time spring rolls around.
West Virginia, of course, received a major commitment from Bella Vista Prep’s Miles Sadler, a dynamic 6-foot guard and five star recruit.
Sadler penned his grant-in-aid with WVU for the 2026-27 season back in November.
According to 247 Sports, Sader is the highest level recruit to sign with WVU.
Wor is also hearing from UC Santa Barbara, Mississippi State, UNC Charlotte, Northern Arizona and several others.
He picked up offers from Mississippi State and UNC Charlotte during the live period.
He doesn’t have any visits lined up yet, albeit there appeals to be mutual intrigue with UC Santa Barbara.
“(Assistant) coach Brandon (Rosenthal), he’s just a great guy and has been in contact since September,” Wor said.
Smack in the middle of a hothouse, high level Prep environment in the Phoenix, AZ. area, Bella Vista multiple teams.
Wor has played for a pair of different teams throughout the program this winter.
Still in the process of deciding which AAU team he will suit up for this spring, Wor says he will likely know at the culmination of the 2026-26 Scholastic season.
