Bay Area News Group boys athlete of the week: Nick Lee, Dublin basketball

Dublin basketball player Nick Lee is the Bay Area News Group’s boys high school athlete of the week for Dec. 29-Jan. 3.

In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Lee finished with 56.6% of the votes. Bellarmine basketball player Brennan Williams took second with 42.2%.

Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Lee scored 26 points and grabbed four rebounds to lead a short-handed Dublin team to a 63-61 victory over Valley Christian. Dublin (12-4) will play at California in its EBAL opener on Friday.
