Four-star guard Miles Sadler commits to West Virginia
By JAMES MADDEN
Four-star guard Miles Sadler has committed to play for Ross Hodge and West Virginia, he announced on Sunday. Sadler – a 5-foot-10 guard from Canada, is currently a senior at Bella Vista Prep (AZ). The athletic guard chose the Mountaineers over Maryland, Oklahoma, Tennessee, UCLA and USC.
During his summer with the Arizona Unity on the Nike EYBL circuit, Sadler averaged 13.8 points and 6.6 assists per game for his team.
Sadler told ZAGSBLOG this spring that he was focused on finding the right program that would give him an opportunity to play key minutes right away and he felt that West Virginia was the right fit. He also said a great environment and crowd would play a factor in his decision.
He may have hit the jackpot with that assessment of West Virginia fans, who are widely considered one of the most passionate fanbases in the sport.
Sadler is West Virginia’s third commit in the class of 2026, joining Kingston Whitty and Aliou Dioum, his high school teammate.
Sadler is a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 40 overall prospect in the class of 2026, according to 247Sports.
