Louisiana Women's Basketball defeated by Bowling Green to open 2025 season

LAFAYETTE. La. (KLFY) -- Louisiana Women's Basketball opened their season with an 82-67 loss to the Bowling Green Falcons on Monday night at the Cajundome in the MAC-SBC challenge.

The Ragin' Cajuns, led by head coach Garry Brodhead in his 14th year, struggled to keep up with Bowling Green, who maintained the lead for over 25 minutes of the game.

True-freshman Amijah Price, hailing from Woodlawn High School, led Louisiana in scoring with 17 points on 7-12 shooting. Jazmyn Jackson and Mikayla Manley also contributed with 13 and 15 points respectively.
