Knicks’ duo to miss season-opener

A season with big expectations for the New York Knicks is already off to a less than ideal start.

Key rotational players Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson will miss the season-opener on Wednesday, per Shams Charania.

Hart is reportedly dealing with lumbar spasms, an injury he suffered after the first game of the preseason.

As for Robinson, the Knicks have reported that he has no new injuries but New York want to take a cautious approach with the 7-footer that has had injury troubles in the past.

Still, the Knicks head into this season with expectations higher than they have been at any point this century. Whether or not they meet those expectations remains to be seen, and it begins against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
