Top-50 recruit Bo Ogden commits to Texas

Texas has landed one of the best forwards the Class of 2026 has to offer.
Bo Ogden, the No. 31 recruit in the Class of 2026, will play for the Longhorns in the 2026-27 season, he announced on Tuesday.
Ogden chose Texas over Tennessee and Purdue.
The 6-foot-5 forward cites his relationship with head coach Sean Miller as the primary factor for his decision. His father, Chris Ogden, is also on Miller’s staff as the general manager.
“Coach Miller was the ultimate reason I picked Texas. I watched his practices, and he is a great teacher, which I value,” Ogden told ESPN. “The relationship between myself and Coach Miller developed organically. He watched me play to make sure I was a good fit. After he decided that, he recruited me. He knows what it takes to develop players and has done it at a high level.”
The Texas native played in the Adidas Circuit this summer, putting up 20.9 points while shooting a scorching hot 52.8% from long distance.
Ogden is the first member of Texas’ 2026 recruiting class.
