Four-star guard Anthony Brown announced his commitment to Vanderbilt on Wednesday, ON3’s Joe Tipton reported. Brown – a 6-foot-1, shifty guard from Archbishop Carroll High School (DC), chose the Commadores over Maryland and Indiana. Brown had a breakout summer with Team Durant of the Nike EYBL circuit, where he averaged 18.9 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game and 4.7 assists per game.

He is a high-level scorer, and has had consistent shooting splits from all three levels throughout his high school and EYBL career. Brown has an exceptional shot-making ability and was consistently one of the best tough-shot makers all summer long.

A smaller guard – he plays with fire and intensity on defense and showcases his east coast toughness every chance he gets. As he continues to improve his game on both sides of the ball, his offensive ceiling is viewed as one of the highest in the class of 2026.

Brown is Mark Byington and Vanderbilt’s third top-100 commit in the class of 2026. He joins Ethan Mgbako and Jackson Sheffield to round out their recruiting class, so far. Brown is a four-star recruit and is ranked as the No. 70 overall prospect in the class of 2026.
