Ilija Milijasevic officially joins DePaul
By JAMES MADDEN
DePaul announced that Ilija Milijasevic has officially joined its roster for the 2025-26 season. He is a 6-foot-2 native of Serbia and spent time playing for Mega Superbet in the Adriatic League.
“We are excited about the addition of Ilija,”head coach Chris Holtmann said. “He is a player with excellent international experience who brings very good shooting, experience and defensive toughness. While only 6-2, his extremely quick release allows him to get his shot off against bigger defenders. Ilija played on an outstanding international team while there is always a transition, we think that level of play will help him as he transitions to BIG EAST basketball here at DePaul.”
In addition to his time with Mega Superbet, Milijasevic was also a member of the Serbian National Team at the FIBA U20 Eurobasket event in Poland last year. He averaged 12.4 points, 3.7 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game for his nation.
Milijasevic rounds out a 2025 recruiting class including four-star Kruz McClure, four-star Isaiah Medina, Amsal Delalic (Pittsburgh), Khaman Maker (St. John’s), Brandon Maclin (Radford), RJ Smith (Colorado) and Kaleb Banks (Tulane).
