Let’s talk Cavs Summer League!

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Cleveland Cavaliers fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

The summer is flying by. The Cleveland Cavaliers are already approaching the end of their trip to Las Vegas. If you’ve been keeping up with the Summer League action, then we want to hear your thoughts!

Who has impressed you the most this summer?

The Cavs have a number of intriguing options to choose from. Nae’Qwan Tomlin was an early standout when he erupted for 30 points in his first game of the summer. He followed that performance with a 22-point outing, but has been relatively quiet since then.

Jaylon Tyson might have put himself ahead of the pack in his most recent game. Tyson put up 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in a dominant showing against the Miami Heat. He was then ruled out for Wednesday’s game versus the Kings — and it’s possible Tyson has graduated from the Summer League altogether.

Tyrese Proctor hasn’t been as dynamic. But his three-point shooting has stood out. Proctor’s off-ball movement and strong mechanics give him a solid foundation to build on.

Finally, Tristan Enaruna is a wild card. He stole the show with three highlight-reel dunks in Cleveland’s win over Miami. The Cleveland State alum has surprised us with his motor and athleticism. He hasn’t been the best player on the floor, but he might be the biggest uncovered gem for the Cavs.

The Cavs currently have the third-best odds to win the NBA Finals next season, according to FanDuel. That means it will be hard for anyone competing in the Summer League to then play a significant role for a title contender next season. But these four players are the ones who have impressed us the most.
