Three one-year contracts

Two members of the Brotherhood are with new NBA teams as of Monday: Mason Plumlee is back with the Charlotte Hornets while Tyus Jones has also left Phoenix but for Orlando rather than the Hornets.

Plumlee is now 35 and on the back end of his career. He signed a one-year deal for $3.6 million. Jones has a one-year deal as well, in his case for $7 million.

Plumlee is a reliable, highly professional veteran at this point who will do whatever Charlotte asks. For his part, Jones may start for Orlando and he’ll be a terrific asset there. Orlando has a lot of great pieces: Brotherhood members Paolo Banchero and Wendell Carter, along with the Wagner brothers, Anthony Black, Jalen Suggs and others.

Incidentally, Charlotte now has a solid Duke contingent with Plumlee, Seth Curry, Wendell Moore and rookies Kon Knueppel and Sion James.

And one more we just saw: Luke Kennard has left Memphis for the Atlanta Hawks, where he’ll play for Quin Snyder on a one-year contract.
