Is Dame Sarr A Lottery Pick In 2026?
We’ll see next June
Duke just saw its entire starting lineup get drafted by Dallas, Charlotte, Phoenix, Charlotte again and Cleveland.
That’s a lot of talent to replace, but Duke is still expected to be good: over at CBSSports, Gary Parrish has Duke as the #9 team in his 25 and 1.
Part of the reason for that is another excellent class with the Boozer twins, Cameron and Cayden, Nik Khamenia, Sebastian Wilkins and Dame Sarr.
Sarr is a highly promising wing from Italy who has earned a lot of attention. In fact, he’s earned enough that he’s seen as a potential lottery pick next season.
On3 now has him as the #17 prospect in the class and ESPN’s Jonathan Givony has him as the #nine pick in his 2026 NBA mock draft.
Givony points to Sarr as a “versatile defender who has shown intriguing flashes as a perimeter shooter, passer and shot creator,” but acknowledges he still has work to do.
Who doesn’t?
Givony also has Cameron Boozer at #3 to Brooklyn, Isaiah Evans at #16 and Patrick Ngongba at #38.
