Lakers begin adding multiple undrafted free agents to Summer League roster
Now that the 2025 NBA Draft is over, the Lakers have pivoted to signing undrafted free agents to deals for Summer League and beyond.
The offseason continues blazing on for the Lakers. After selecting Adou Thiero with the No. 36 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Los Angeles also reportedly added undrafted rookie Eric Dixon to a two-way deal.
The purple and gold are from done, however, as they have also added multiple undrafted free agents to Exhibit 10 deals.
Simply put, an Exhibit 10 deal is a training camp contract. There is no guarantee you’ll make the official roster, but by signing this contract, you get a shot at proving your worth. Additionally, if you are cut during training camp, you get a bonus for signing with that franchise’s G League team.
One of the first players the Lakers reportedly signed was North Carolina’s RJ Davis, inking him to an Exhibit 10 deal.

The UNC guard averaged 17.2 points per game in his final season as a Tar Heel.
His athleticism on the perimeter is clear. Davis is not necessarily a 3-point threat, averaging 35% on his attempts from deep, but he can apply pressure on the rim and finishes strong in the paint.
Davis was difficult to guard in college due to his speed and if you fouled him, he made you pay. He converted on 87% of his free throw attempts in his senior year and never shot less than 82% from the line.
As a disruptor, Davis averaged 3.6 assists per game, second only to his backcourt partner Elliot Cadeau.
The team also reportedly agreed to an Exhibit-10 deal with Augustas Marčiulionis from Saint Mary’s.

Marčiulionis averaged 14.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists in 35 games for Saint Mary’s this past season.
He dominated in the West Coast Conference and was named Player of the Year twice during his collegiate career.
Unfortunately, Lakers fans will have to wait a bit before they can see Marčiulionis play. He is currently recovering from a foot injury and is expected to return in late July, meaning he’ll likely miss Las Vegas Summer League action, but should be ready for training camp.
Arthur Kaluma of Texas also reportedly signed an Exhibit-10 deal with the purple and gold.

Kaluma moved around a lot during his college days. He spent two years at Creighton and another at Kansas State before ending up at Texas.
During that sole season with the Longhorns, he averaged 12.3 points and was a solid rebounder, pulling down 7.5 boards per game. Kaluma has a 6’7 frame, giving him the kind of size NBA teams want from their combo forwards.
