This looks very promising

It didn't take long for Duke to replace strength coach Will Stephens, who announced his retirement on June 8th, and it came at the expense of a conference rival as Clemson’s Preston Greene will be moving to Durham to work for Jon Scheyer’s program.

For his part, Scheyer calls the hire “transformational” and Greene seems excited too:

I’m truly grateful to Coach Scheyer for the opportunity to join the Duke men’s basketball family. It’s an incredible honor to be part of a program that not only competes for national championships, but also holds itself to the highest standards in everything it does.

”Duke represents a rare combination of excellence, tradition and integrity — qualities I deeply value. This is a dream opportunity, and I’m excited to bring my experience to help support the continued growth and success of the program.”

Clemson folk seem to be distressed, which is bad for them but good for us.

Greene also worked for Duke great Johnny Dawkins when he was at Stanford. He’s been at Clemson since 2023 and before that moved, he helped Miami to the Final Four. Sounds like a keen hire.
