North Carolina transfer Cade Tyson commits to Minnesota

Minnesota has secured its ninth transfer portal addition for the 2025-26 season.
North Carolina transfer Cade Tyson will play for the Gophers next season, he announced on Sunday.
The 6-foot-7 guard averaged 2.6 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in his junior year with the Tar Heels.
Tyson played his first two seasons of college at Belmont, finishing his sophomore season averaging 16.2 points per game along with a scorching 46.5% from long distance.
He will join new head coach Niko Medved and a sizeable transfer portal class as they prepare to compete in the Big Ten.
