If you’re worried about the possibility of LeBron retiring from basketball, the good news is you can hoop like King James any time with his signature Nike sneakers. The NBA legend's shoes run the gamut at Nike, from the lightweight LeBron Witness to the gym-ready TR1 sneakers, but right now, one of his basketball shoes that's packing excellent ankle support and underfoot cushion is selling for 29% off.

The LeBron XXIIs come in a variety of intriguing patterns with intricate designs, and we’re seeing them sell for as low as $127, but the most exciting colorway, the "What The Currency," is now on sale for $141. This is a new markdown over at Nike, but the shoes are already considered a “highly rated," garnering over 50 five-star reviews. Some sizes are also already selling out, so now is the time to get your size.

Functional and stylish, the LeBron XXII features visible “saddle wings” on the sides and a strong plate buried within the soft foam of the midsole. This, combined with a multi-directional traction pattern along the bottom of each shoe, provides a comfortable yet grounded feeling when running up and down, cutting, and crossing over on the court. This particular colorway is also quite beautiful, with a bright burst of color that creates delightful contrasts across the stitching of the saddle wings.

One shopper, who called them the “best shoes ever,” said, “I use these shoes for my basketball games and for normal wear, and they are the best shoes. They are super durable and great, and stable for basketball.”

Another shopper compared them to the previous gen LeBron shoe. “Thought I wouldn’t see an upgrade from the 21s, but that’s exactly what I got. The saddle on these shoes gives an extra layer of stability and comfort. The placement of the zoom units is spot on.”

LeBron is still one of the most popular basketball stars in the world, which means these Nike shoes bearing his name at a 29% discount are likely to sell out fast. As a newly discounted item on the Nike website, we can’t be sure when all sizes will sell out, but we’re already seeing some have their stock completely depleted.
