Cowboys to host Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day
Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are going to be a big part of the holidays this year
Wednesday is Schedule Release Day for the NFL.
By the night’s end, all 32 teams will know their full schedule for the upcoming season, and social media will be filled with the creative release videos produced by each franchise.
However, games will roll out throughout the day on Wednesday, and the latest announcement confirms that the holiday season will be filled with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The league released one of the Thanksgiving Day games, which will see the Chiefs travel to Texas to take on Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys:

This, combined with an earlier announcement from Amazon Prime Video, means that the Chiefs will play on both Thanksgiving Day and Christmas night. Earlier this week, Amazon Prime Video confirmed that the Chiefs will host their AFC West rivals, the Denver Broncos, on Christmas night:

There is also growing speculation that the Chiefs will open the season in Brazil, in another AFC West showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers.
But this also means that the Chiefs — and their fans — will have two short weeks late in the season, as Kansas City hope
