Cavs will be at full strength for Game 3
Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and De’Andre Hunter will play tonight in Indianapolis.
INDIANAPOLIS — The Cleveland Cavaliers’ season might be on the line in Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers. Fortunately for the Cavaliers, they will be getting some much-needed reinforcements. Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and De’Andre Hunter are all available to play in Game 3.
Both Garland and Mobley re-enter the starting lineup alongside Donovan Mitchell, Max Strus, and Jarrett Allen.
How effective each of these players will be remains to be seen. There was a reason why they were out of the lineup to begin with. It’s unlikely that all three were magically healed overnight. That said, the Cavs will greatly benefit from each of them being available again.
Head coach Kenny Atkinson wasn’t able to go into details about whether any of them will be on a minutes limit. It’s something that he will have to “feel” out.
Garland is the one who could be affected by this most. He’s been out the longest. To stay in game shape, he’s been running on a zero-gravity treadmill. This morning, he was able to run during morning shootaround.
“It’s going to be a lot of communication with all three of those guys,” Atkinson said. “I’d love if they were going to be slotted for their normal minutes, but we’re gonna have communication.”
Garland has been out since the Cavs' Game 2 win over the Miami Heat on April 23.

Hunter went through pregame warmups without any wrappings on his injured shooting hand. Mobley also went through his regular pregame warmups. Both have been out since the Game 1 loss on Sunday.
This is a near-must-win game. We’ll see how the Cavs respond
