With his masterful performance at Session 1, Bouie has since picked offers from Cincinnati and Ole Miss. Other programs to offer include Alabama, Georgetown, Georgia, Marquette, Mississippi State, VCU, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
Bouie said Alabama, Georgia, Georgetown, Marquette, Ohio State and Virginia Tech, among others, were in to see him during his high school season at Chambers (NC). Bouie has taken an official visit to Marquette and unofficial to Alabama so far in his recruitment process.
Here’s the shooting guard’s breakdown of some of the schools in contact:
Alabama: “I really just like how [Nate Oats] gels with his team. I really like their style of play. I feel like I could really play with them.” Assistant coach Preston Murphy mainly in contact.
Georgia: “I’ve been to a basketball game. I’ve seen them play a little bit. But I really don’t know much yet. I have to visit.”
Georgetown: “They’ve been keeping in contact a lot. They love my game, so I have to go up there.”
Marquette: “Really just a defensive school, like my high school. I feel like I can play with them too. They like to play in transition a lot, play defense. [On the visit] I liked just how active their coach was, coach [Shaka] Smart was. It was fun.”
Ohio State: “I haven’t been out there yet, but they just came [to Chambers]. They said they like my game and all that and they’re going to keep in contact.”
Virginia Tech: “They came to see me play. They said they wanted me on a visit. I might go up there.” Assistant coach Chester Frazier mainly in contact.
When Bouie starts going on more visits, he’s looking for a great coach that lets him play his game. He also wants a program that plays their freshman.
The four-star shooting guard describes himself as a two-way player and said offense is his best trait.
Bouie is ranked the No. 72 overall prospect in the 2026 class by 247Sports. He’ll play his senior season of high school under former Montverde head coach Kevin Boyle at Spire Academy.
