Baylor transfer Jason Asemota officially commits to Boston College

Boston College officially announced the commitment of a former five-star prospect.
Baylor transfer Jason Asemota will play for the Eagles next season, the school announced Thursday.
“Jason brings great length and athleticism to our perimeter,” Boston head coach Earl Grant said. “He is very versatile and possesses a lot of intangibles. He can really shoot the ball and also has a burst attacking the rim. His length and wingspan should put him in position to be a lock down defender.”
The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 1.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per game in just 6 minutes per game during his freshman year at Baylor. The Massachusetts native was a five-star recruit in the 2024 class and contains the physical traits to have real upside for his new program.
“He has great upside and I can see him improving quickly in our program,” Grant said. “Our Strength & Conditioning program will benefit him tremendously.” I look forward to getting him to campus and seeing him make an impact on the program.”
Boston College will also add Missouri transfer Aidan Shaw, Butler transfer Boden Kapke and South Dakota transfer Chase Fort.
