Game 1: No. 7 Montverde Academy vs. No. 10 Dynamic Prep — 6:15 p.m. ET
Montverde players to watch: Hudson Greer (Creighton commit), CJ Ingram (Florida commit), Trent Sisley (Indiana commit), Dante Allen (recent Villanova decommit), Hakeem Weems (undecided 2025), Dhani Miller (2026), Gabe Weis (2026 3-star), King Gibson (2027 5-star), Javion Tyndale (2027).
Dynamic players to watch: Jermaine O’Neal Jr. (SMU commit), Jaden Toombs (SMU commit), Chris Nwuli (Rutgers commit), Jacobe Coleman (Sam Houston commit), Leroy Kelly (recent Oral Roberts decommit), Xavier Roberson (2026), Ryan Hampton (2027 5-star), Marcus Spears Jr. (2027 5-star).
NBA Scouts fill sidelines: There are double-digit NBA scouts here to watch the first game of the tournament, including one from the New York Knicks.
Darian DeVries pulls up: Indiana’s new head coach is court side to watch Sisley, his four-star power forward signee. He’s joined by assistants Nick Norton and Drew Adams.
Toombs dominates paint: The SMU signee leads the game in two categories at halftime with nine points and six rebounds to give Dynamic Prep a 29-20 lead. Greer has paced Montverde with eight points and two triples.
Coleman shines: Sam Houston has found itself a steal in Coleman, the 3-star guard. He does it all. Defends. Rebounds. Drives and dishes. Hits shots. He has eight points, four rebounds and four steals at halftime.

Acuff filling it up: A day after being among the top scorers in the McDonald’s All-American game, Acuff is at it again. He’s scored 10 points and has propelled a second quarter IMG run to take a 20-19 lead.
Manciel impressing: The best player in the game for Wasatch has been Manciel. He’s everywhere and has steadied the offensive attack. Nine points on 2-of-3 shooting from deep, three rebounds, three assists and two steals for the three-star guard. Wasatch leads 29-25 at the half.
Dayton coach in attendance: The Flyers recruiting coordinator Sean Damaska was spotted in the crowd during this game.
