YouTube Gold: The 2025 ACC Tournament Award Ceremony
What a weekend for the Blue Devils
There’s an awful lot of positives to come out of this weekend in Charlotte for Duke. This team needed a dose of adversity going into the NCAA Tournament after dominating the ACC regular season and, in each game, they got some.
Against Georgia Tech, they lost Cooper Flagg and Maliq Brown, within a few minutes of each other, to injuries.
Against UNC, the Blue Devils lost all but one point of a 24 point half-time lead, getting signifiant help from a terrible mental error by Jae’Lin Withers when he committed a lane violation with :04 left to play and Ven-Allen Lubin at the line with a tying free throw.
And on Saturday, Louisville pounded Duke in the first half, giving the young Blue Devils a major physical test.
They passed all three challenges and after the game, collected the ACC tournament trophy. Here is the ceremony or most of it, anyway. It was an interesting journey and more challenging than we expected.
