As the Blue Devils overcome the loss of Cooper Flagg and Maliq Brown.

Playing without Cooper Flagg and Maliq Brown, Duke put together a wonderful effort to knock off #13 Louisville to win the 2025 ACC Tournament, 73-62.

Duke adds the tournament win to the regular season championship to establish itself as one of the best teams in recent ACC history. We’d have to double-check this, but we think that Jon Scheyer is now the first coach to win two ACC Tournaments in his first three years as a head coach.

Duke got a super all-round effort from everyone, but the backcourt of Tyrese Proctor and Sion James get special praise. So does Khaman Maluach, who has been a rock inside and who has shown real growth in the absence of Flagg and Brown, and so too does Kon Knueppel, who played like anything but a freshman.

Playing and winning without Flagg, who is a remarkable talent, this is one of the more remarkable championships in Duke history. We’ll have more soon.
