Every March Madness automatic qualifier for the 2025 men’s NCAA tournament so far

We’re tracking the 32 teams who qualified automatically for this year’s tournament.

It’s March and the countdown to the NCAA tournament is on.

The entire 2025 NCAA tournament field will be announced on Sunday, March 16. But before all that nervous energy on Selection Sunday, teams will play for their respective conference tournament title, which guarantees a spot in the NCAA tournament.

There are 32 teams that qualify through automatic bids from winning conference tournaments. The other 36 teams will qualify as at-large selections, picked by the DI men’s basketball selection committee.

The First Four games of the 2025 NCAA tournament will start on March 18. The first round will begin on March 20 and can conclude on March 21.
