State Women's Basketball Players Get Honors from Big 12 and SEC

Oklahoma's Bedlam women's basketball teams both had players honored by their respective conferences on Tuesday.

Oklahoma had Raegan Beers named first team All-SEC and Payton Verhulst was second team All-SEC.

Oklahoma State had four players honored by the Big 12.

Stailee Heard was first team All-Big 12, Anna Gret Asi was third team All-Big 12, and Micah Gray was named honorable mention All-Big 12.

Jadyn Wooten was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.

Both OU and OSU open conference tournament play later this week.

OU will play Thursday at 12:30 against the winner of Wednesday's Georgia-Arkansas game at the SEC Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina.

OSU will play Friday at 8:00 pm against either Utah, Kansas, or Texas Tech in the Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City, Missouri.
