Jimmy Butler III shows no signs of slowing down
Jimmy Butler III is the first player in Warriors history to have 120+ points, 30+ rebounds and 30+ assists through their first six games with the team.
Jimmy Butler III is known to make a splash wherever he goes. In Golden State, he’s already set a franchise record, being the first Warrior in history to score 120+ points, 30+ rebounds, and 30+ assists within the first six games of coming to the Warriors.

Despite being flat-out awesome from a stat-head’s perspective, this record is great for another reason, too. Butler III, at 35 years old, shows no signs of slowing down.
Though the Warriors have an up-and-coming young core, age is definitely a worry, with Butler III, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green nearing the ends of their careers. However, this stat proves we don’t have to worry about Jimmy Buckets, at least not for a while. He is averaging 16.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game in his first eight games with the Warriors.
The Warriors acquired Butler III from the Miami Heat at the 2025 trade deadline, sending Andre Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, and a first-round pick to Miami. Lindy Waters III and Dennis Schröeder were also shipped at the deadline as a part of the deal. Butler III is under contract with the Warriors until 2027, when he will become an unrestricted free agent.
