YouTube Gold: Mark Mitchell Goes Off For Missouri
What a night for the former Duke star
We haven’t talked about Mark Mitchell as much since he transferred last spring as we have about the other guys who left because he’s a bit farther off the radar.
Christian Reeves is at Clemson. TJ Power is at Virginia. Jaden Schutt is at Blacksburg, Sean Stewart is at Ohio State, Jaylen Blakes is at Stanford and Jeremy Roach is at Baylor.
We just don’t see Mizzou a whole lot.
Well we got an eyeful Wednesday night as Mitchell helped lead the Tigers to a major upset of #4 Alabama.
And Mitchell was on fire with a 31 point performance. He hit 11-15 overall and 1-3 from behind the line. He also had three assist and three rebounds.
In short, he and Missouri were absolutely sensational and not only was it Mizzou’s first-ever 100 point game against an SEC team, they racked up 110 and he had nearly 1⁄3 of that.
Just a tremendous night for Mitchell and the Tigers, who look like they could be one of those battle-tested mid-level power conference teams that catches fire in the postseason.
