And one stat is just crazy good.

We’ve talked before about Duke’s absolutely insane ability to force turnovers and we saw it again at Wake Forest as Kara Lawson’s Blue Devils forced an astounding 33 in a 72-47 win.

No one is much talking about this, but it’s one of the most astonishing stats we’ve ever seen and the Blue Devils keep doing it. Wow!

Demerea Hines had eight by herself and four other starters had at least three each. Malaya Cowles had five off the bench.

It’s just crazy that any team can force more than 30 turnovers, but it’s not the first time the Blue Devils have done so.

Duke started a bit slow as Wake won the first quarter 12-11. That didn't last. Duke outscored the Deacs 18-7 in the second, 17-9 in the third and 26-19 in the fourth.

Toby Fournier led the way for Duke with 17. Oluchi Okananwa had 15. Delaney Thomas led the rebounding parade with six.

Next up for the Blue Devils is a date with Notre Dame in South Bend and that won’t be easy.
