The full injury for Wednesday night’s NBA game on ESPN.

The Golden State Warriors get their first look at the new-and-definitely-not-improved Dallas Mavericks tonight, visiting Klay Thompson’s new team at 6:30 p.m. PT on ESPN. It’s a chance for the Dubs to get their first three-game winning streak in nearly three months and, in a rarity, the Warriors are the healthier team.

Here’s the full injury report.

Warriors

Out — Jonathan Kuminga (right ankle sprain)

Kuminga will enter the All-Star break having missed 21 consecutive games with his ankle injury. The hope is that he’ll be able to return on February 21, when the Dubs begin the second half of the season. I can’t wait to see him share the court with Jimmy Butler.

Available — Kevon Looney (right nasal bone fracture — facemask)

More of facemask Looney!

Mavericks

Out — Anthony Davis (left adductor strain)

The Mavericks shocked the NBA world earlier this month when they traded Luka Dončić for Davis. Their reasoning that they wanted a player wore reliably available and well-conditioned was comical, especially considering that they traded him for a player with a long history of injuries. And indeed, Davis suffered an injury in his Dallas debut. And while he expressed optimism after the game, it ended up being unfounded: he’s expected to miss multiple weeks, and possibly a month or more.

Out — Daniel Gafford (right knee sprain)

Gafford has been having the best season of his career as the Mavericks starting center, but he’s likely to be out until the very end of the month, or maybe into March.

Out — Dereck Lively II (right ankle stress fracture)

Without Davis, Gafford, or Lively, the Mavericks are sorely hurting for size. Will the Warriors counter by playing big? Or will they match Dallas and play small?

Out — Dwight Powell (right hip strain)

Oops, I spoke too soon. Make it a fourth big man out for Dallas! That’s brutal.

Out — Caleb Martin (right hip strain)

Martin was a sneaky good pickup at the deadline for Dallas, but he’s yet to make his debut for the team while he rehabs an injury that will likely keep him out another week or two.

Questionable — P.J. Washington (right ankle sprain)

As if having four big men ruled out wasn’t enough, Washington is questionable. It could be a game in which Dallas has no bigs available.

Questionable — Dante Exum (left Achilles tightness)

After missing the first few months of the season, Exum made his season debut on January 31, and has played in six straight games, while looking pretty good. We’ll see if he’s able to go tonight.

Enjoy the action, Dub Nation!
