High school basketball: Area girls teams finish off regular-season play

With sectional tournaments set to begin this week in high school girls basketball, a handful of area teams took the court Monday for their final contests of the regular season. Gibsonburg sophomore Elly Evarts had yet another big scoring night, knocking down 11 free throws and finishing with 28 points in her team’s 53-41 win at Woodmore.
