How to watch Warriors vs. Bulls
Golden State basketball is on the way! Come join our game thread and chat about tonight’s matchup here.
The Golden State Warriors play their third game of this road trip as they take on the Chicago Bulls. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM PT in Chicago and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
The Warriors fell back to .500 after another tough 120-112 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. A sluggish start put them in a deep hole early, trailing by 20 points at halftime. Despite a spirited second-half rally that cut the deficit to six, they couldn’t generate enough offense down the stretch to complete the comeback against their Southern California rivals.
Each teams’ respective superstar showed out for this matchup. LeBron James dominated with a game-high 42 points on 6-of-9 shooting from three, while adding 17 rebounds and eight assists. Stephen Curry, meanwhile, led the Warriors with 37 points, seven rebounds, and four assists.
What to watch for tonight:
All eyes will be on the newly acquired Jimmy Butler as he makes his Warriors debut against the Bulls—the team that drafted him back in 2011. Golden State shook up its roster ahead of the NBA trade deadline, sending Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson, Dennis Schroder, and a protected first-round pick to the Miami Heat in exchange for the six-time All-Star.
Jimmy Butler is cleared to make his Warriors debut tomorrow night in Chicago. Not listed on injury report. Neither are Steph Curry and Draymond Green. Warriors expected to have all three in what feels like beginning of a 31-game sprint to the finish line.

Butler provides the Warriors with a much-needed secondary scoring option alongside Curry, offering a player who can create his own shot and take pressure off the team’s leading scorer. More importantly, he brings the toughness and grit that Golden State has been missing all season long. Expect Butler to come out with something to prove, eager to turn the page on his messy breakup in Miami and make an immediate impact in his Warriors debut.
